Directions
The HMHEC is located on the East Campus of CVCC on Highway 70 SE. From the Main Campus of CVCC, the East Campus is located approximately ½ mile to the East on Highway 70 SE.

- From I-40 West (from Statesville)
- Take Exit 128 - Fairgrove Church Road.
- Turn left on to Fairgrove Church Road.
- Drive to Hwy 70 and turn right.
- Drive approximately 1 mile to the first traffic light.
- Turn left into the East Campus parking lot (behind Northern Tool).
- The Appalachian Center at Hickory is on the right end of the building.
- From I-40 East (from Morganton)
- Take Exit 126 - McDonald Parkway.
- Turn right on to McDonald Parkway.
- Drive to the second traffic light, Hwy 70, and turn left.
- Drive approximately 1 mile to the third traffic light.
- Turn right into the CVCC East Campus parking lot (behind Northern Tool).
- The Appalachian Center at Hickory is on the right end of the building.
- From 321 (from Gastonia or Boone)
- Take 321 to I-40 East.
- Take Exit 126 - McDonald Parkway.
- Turn right on to McDonald Parkway.
- Drive to the second traffic light, Hwy 70, and turn left.
- Drive approximately 1 mile to the third traffic light.
- Turn right into the CVCC East Campus parking lot (behind Northern Tool).
